2012 Twugia year 7 students produced short films – Jump the Hurdles, Elders’ stories of achievement and success against the odds. As a continuation from that theme we asked three families and some Aboriginal staff to share changes that they have experienced as part of ‘Generational Change for Aboriginal people’. Our 2013 year 7 students interviewed and filmed those that were happy to share their stories. The students divided themselves into two groups to plan, edit and produce the short films using ipads. Stories of Generational Change is stories from The Lockley family, Gray family, Robinson family, Aunty Carol Brown, Moses Alone and Sherrie Meyers who speak about their personal experiences as Aboriginal people through the different generations.
